I'd review DA2, since I actually did play and beat it, but I fear the thread would devolve into another Bioware/EA hate thread. All you really need to know is that the only plus about the game is that the main villain is basically a female version of Frollo, just with magic users instead of gypsies.

Super Mario Galaxy: Purple Coins.
Super Paper Mario: Unholy abomination. I want to kill people. Like, real, living human beings. With a jagged, rusty knife. Just, kinda stick it in them, make them savor the pain. Someone please unleash from this hell on Earth, I will kill every single one of you motherfuc- *keeps foaming at mouth*
Rayman Origins: Pretty neat flash platformer but didn't hold my interest long enough to beat it 100%. Still not as bad as people make it out to be. I liken it to Yoshi's Island. There's a little something in it for speedrunners as well.
Animal Crossing: City Folk: The grass is literally the only problem, unless you have a raging nostalgia boner for the GameCube Animal Crossing (Like me), then this is the most up to date game in the series. Boo hoo, not my problem if you played Wild World for 8 years, I played the fuck out of it too but City Folk really isn't that terrible. Free DLC to boot too. The grass problem is easily remedied with hacks.
The next games will probably be... The Klonoa Wii-make, and... Counter-Strike?
Da fuq?
I know right?
...just go about your daily business.

Oh god yes, the 3DS version is pretty awful. I tried it. Trust me, there are people out there that think it's bad. They think it's made in Newgrounds flash and they just have an irrational hate for anything Rayman. I'm not exactly sure where it stems from. Did the Rabbids really do that much damage to his image or something? I thought people fucking loved the classic 2D Rayman of PS1 and TEH GREAT ESCAPE in 3D. Guess I was wrong.

You must be talking to a very small minority of people that dislike it then, because the general consensus is that it's a fantastic game.

I guess /v/ is a small minority then.

Ah, there's your problem.
Taking /v/'s opinions on games seriously.

The hate for it was pretty ridiculous. I'm not sure why.
It made my head ache whenever I saw "-3 copies sold, what's your excuse?".

Again, you shouldn't be trusting /v/ when it comes to what people generally think of video games.
Rayman Origins may not have sold a lot of copies when it was first released, yes, but since then it has sold much, much more copies, giving Ubisoft a tremendous profit. And it is in no way, shape or form a "bad game". Maybe /v/ doesn't like tough as nails platformers, but the game itself is very well designed. Sonic 06 would be an example of a bad game, because it is just awful in every conceivable way. On a side note, was /v/ where you learned that Superstar Saga is underrated? Because it sold millions and spawned two sequels.
tl;dr /v/ is not even close to being the authority on games, thank you, goodnight.

Yes. They always talk about TTYD but not once do they mention Superstar Saga.

Superstar Saga being not talked about as much on /v/ does not mean the game is underrated, Cin...

/v/ is more willing to speak of flaws in gaming and take a cynical stance on stuff. Nevertheless, I'd trust them over IGN or Gamespot any day.
Besides, BIS came out a while ago and Gant knows if that was the end of the series (frankly I don't care) and a new Paper Mario game is coming out soon so seeing more threads about PM is logical.

>Not finishing Super Mario Bros. 2
I assume the Doki Doki Panic one. Because if so... I am disappoint. Try booting up Super Mario Advance on VBA. Yes, yes, you'll get your "LUCKY!"s and "CHOOSE A PLAYER!"s, but I personally believe it was a wonderful upgrade... Something about it... Just draws me in...
And I see some games on there that I would assume you would have beaten a long time ago, and it was just simply a matter of replaying and savoring... But, hmm.
