That's the beauty of Dead Rising. Anything's a weapon.

Dota 2 music is face-meltingly epic. My legs get stuck to the ground like glue because it is so epic. I hear this shit every time I play and it is really...
...engaging, to say the least.
*Play at maximum volume with headphones for full effect*
This is the main theme, and I personally think it sums up Dota 2 very well. I'm imagining all kinds of crazy shit happening. It's like, shit just got real, and you better be fucking ready because it's either DO OR DIE. FROLIC IN THE WHIMSY OF IT ALL, BUT KNOW THAT AT THE END OF THE DAY, BLOOD WILL SPILL. Ahem, moving on...
Before I got an invite, I spectated matches. I could not hear any other kind of music aside from the main menu. Imagine poor ol' Cin when he eventually did get to play, and THIS shit starts to play with like, a hundred heroes to scroll through, and as everyone picks their own heroes assuredly, he's just there stupefied by the intensity of it all.
Perhaps the most epic out of all of them. A personal favorite.
This plays when everyone has selected their heroes and they're just getting ready before the timer finishes. It is INTENSE. You have NO FUCKING IDEA what is going to happen in the match, victory or loss is not entirely guaranteed (Unless if you play with Russians, then you're guaranteed to lose.). This music reinforces that. What lays beyond those dark jungles? Just what in the hell is the enemy team up to? Oh my god you just realized you are going to FUCKING DIE HORRIFICALLY. But then an incredibly loud war horn sounds off before the music ends, and then it is too late for second thoughts.

I truly wish a had a way with words like you do, Cinny. The music reminds me a lot of World of Warcraft (which makes some sense seeing as Dota was originally a modded Warcraft 3). The pre-game music is quite sweet, I agree. It doesn't seem that tense at first, but it's more like the [pseudo] calm before the storm where everyone is rearing to go. I guess it depends on your point of view. For a spectator such as myself it isn't that crazy, but for a player it must get the adrenaline running.
Have some random music that I grabbed.

What is this, Scott Pilgrim? I think they did say some tracks were inspired by anamanaguchi. Other's were inspired by the Neverhood soundtrack. This game, I swear.
